How we order results
By default, search and discovery results are ordered by transparent, factual signals — not by an opaque score and not by who paid the most. The ordering is, in priority: live availability (a provider marked 'available now', which expires automatically), then any active paid visibility (capped — see below), then recency of activity, then whether the profile has photos.
When you type a query, results are additionally ranked by how well the profile matches your words and the taxonomy tags you selected. The same filters always return the same ordering — there is no hidden personalisation that buries some providers.
What paid visibility does — and doesn't
Providers can buy time-limited boosts (for example a featured placement or an available-now highlight). These are a ranking signal with exposure caps; they nudge a profile up for a limited window. They do not buy a permanent top spot, and they never override verification, safety, or your search relevance.
Verification status does not change ranking. A verified rosette is a trust signal shown on the profile; it is not a paid placement and does not push a profile higher than an equally-relevant one.
Fair exposure
We design ranking so that providers at every plan level get proportionate, predictable visibility, and so that no amount of spend can permanently dominate a location or category. We monitor for and correct ordering that would unfairly suppress or entrench listings.
Off-platform payment
None of this involves payment for in-person services. Paid visibility is an advertising fee paid to Rouge Rooms for placement of an advertisement — it is never a commission, deposit, or payment for a service. Payment for any in-person service is always arranged off-platform, directly between adults.
